Audio expectations

Ever done something utterly stupid, like having a picnic on a motorway bridge at 2AM with a friend? Try it. Take an umbrella, some snacks and a few drinkies.
When both roads go quiet and you're left there, two people in the middle of civilisation but completely isolated, its a groovy kinda feeling.
And think that there are no police in britain? They're all out patrolling at midnight. Within one hour, we were visited by not one but two police-cars pottering along. Admittedly at the time I was laid out on the ground staring at the sky doing a fair immitation of someone passed out (seen from a distance, you understand) whilst talking to Slayer877 on subjects varied, but I still found it reassuring.

In other news, we're off airsofting on the 4th Sep (this sunday). We've lost RothArkon, but hopefully we'll be able to find someone else to take his place in time. Slayer877, myself (Burfdl, as i'm sure you're aware) and LH3 are going still, and Slayer is desperatley pestering people at his work to come along. If he can manage to get the driving Paul to come, the journey will be much easier. And people don't call me mercenary. Shocking.

Manchester is just starting to dawn on me. I've no idea what i'm going to do by way of money there. I've not been able to get there for a while, so I can't go jobhunting until the tennancy starts. Ergo I have to live in my measley £500 savings. Such a foolish turkey!
Maybe I can get a position at a Waterstones or something. Always liked working in a library, and maybe working at a charging 'library' will bring in slightly more dosh than WMS and HGS (although I doubt very much that the management at waterstones will be as entertaining as previously...)
